After a bit of a slow start I figured out that if I nuge the tank an air buble cames up and the water goes into the heating unit and out comes the steam. Once I got going the steam was flowing easily and the wrinkles came out of my suit beautifully! I was impressed with the over all ease of use and how nice my suits looked when I was finished. Only one warning, the hose gets VERY HOT! It does have a cool touch handle but the hose is very hot! Do not use around small children.

I was very excited when I was given a rowneta steamer as a gift! I have to where business attire to work everyday and ironing really stinks. This steamer stinks worse. The steam produced by this unit does little to pull wrinkles out of the fabric. My wife and I have both tried it out and it just doesnt live up to the claims of being a good steamer period. Save your money and buy a iron.

We bought this steamer to keep all of our clothes moth-free. It took a while to heat up but worked well once it started steaming.
We used the Rowenta weekly for a year and a half before the switch stopped working reliably. Six months later the steamer completely stopped working.

I wish the Rowenta was more reliable & lasted longer. Now we are going to try a Jiffy Steamer.

After using it twice, there was a leak from the rubber hose just right above the metal connector. Wrapped the leaking spot with a duck tap and tried to use it again. Wow! The hose was completely disintegrated at the leaking spot in less than 10 minutes. Commercial steamer? I don't think so.

I bought this as a reconditioned item. However, when it never works from the beginning, I have my doubts about this companies work. Even after we called customer service and followed their instructions it would not work. By the way, Customer Service instructions did not even come close to what the handbook indicated. I can not risk trusting this company again.

I was very disappointed with this steamer. The power of the steam was insufficient to remove wrinkles. I went over the same area repeated times and the fabric remained wrinkled. I tried it on shirts, pants, and table linens. Very poor results. I could not recommend it.

WOW!!
I could not believe how great this item works.
I had tried hand held steamers before and was skeptical before ordering, but I was desperate.
I sit in a suit most of the day, my pants and jackets get wrinkled and ironing was tedious, time consuming and NOT good for my clothes.
So far this item has performed beyond expectations and at a price that is half of some competitors I have seen.
Thank you Conair.

It's the worst steamer I have ever used in my life. Please do not waste your time and money. Old-fashioned ironing will be more efficient and faster. if you really consider buying garment steamer, look for the professional models. Conair model does not have enough steam power/pressure (the pot of boling water creates more steam than this machine). The design of the steamer needs to be improved. Hose is made of soft plastic and as soon as it heats up it bends (hence preventing the flow of the steam)and gets on the way. Moreover, during the steaming, it gets extremely hot. Hose also does not shut down valve, which is very uncomfortable.
